LIVERPOOL 2 - man U 0 . its a job Half done.as Firmino got a 2nd ,but it shd be 4-0
...a night game v the mancs and as expected the atmosphere was good and for once before the start and throughout you could hear "the Kop" ..
in the 2nd half LVG brought on carrick who for a while...held the ball up, but in the end Lfc more than deserved a win..
BUT , Studge, Phil and Lala probably should have scored a couple more between them 
De Gea in manc goal has kept them in the tie hope that Lfc dont rue those misses.. 75% of the ball.in the first half and 60% on the whole game
... Lfc had lively movement and yet , the mancs were poor, and when I see Sakho, i shudder.. twice he has half cleared to a manc
..but the Hobbit did well to shore up the midfield after the mancs had some of the ball, early in the 2nd half. and Origi pushed the manc defence back at the end (I FEEL that he should lead the line at OT and stretch their back four thus taking the presssure of LFC , especially if Sakho and Moreno play , both too loose for my taste, if Martin Skrtel is fit, I'd play him..even with Sakho moving left and pushing Moreno as far away from the Liverpool goal as possible...
Firminos goal secured the game to an extent and the home side gave away just one headed chance to "psycho big hair" in the 2nd half.. thus avoiding conceding an important away goal..
... with Phil and Clyne both testing De Gea from distance, Hendo should have done better.. but as JK said , 2-0 , if someone had offered it before the game, "I'd have taken it",
.. IF LFC play anything as well next thursday then have a real chance to proceed, but the jobs still only half done..
