'89 pain of the 96! .. & glory.... '90 the last league... 91 still banned.. nearly but entertaining through the 90's ...until treble of 2001, the 5th in '05 & more with Rafa's Reds rampaging europe...

Adam Lallana came on as a substitute at Crystal Palace FC on 31 March but lasted only five minutes before being replaced due to a hamstring injury. Joël Matip picked up a thigh injury in the same game; neither has played since.... Emre Can has been sidelined since 17 March with a back injury. and Nathaniel Clyne made his first appearance since 21 May 2017 at Everton FC on 7 April after a long-standing back injury.

and shame about Ings "goal" amazing how linesman can see danny possible 10cm off, but cant see a blatant handball by stoke in their 6 yard box, from nearer>> ?? we were not happy about risking the "selct 11" because thats all Lfc have of regular first teamers... and Hendo got hit twice , Milly once,, Firm a couple of times and Mo all afternoon...
for one league point? Wijn worked hard, Mo & Trent missed good chances ,,one of those days, and we are convinced a youthful / squad team would have been a better choice,....but...
... we go again... to Roma, hopefully with no more injuries,,, p.s. one bad error again by Karius, loose ball out of defence, stoke didnt punish it, aroma might!...

I was watching my ("official" ) video of the '84 final ...last night, when the net crashed.. it was far from Jk's "full throttle" but that team knew how to get a result.. they won all the games away from home,,, of course last tuesdays game was fantastic, and of course if asked before the game if I would like 5-2 , of course ..YES!... but, its a small but, it makes it "interesting" for the away game ..
if this team knows when to take the foot off the pedal and hold it, no need to "defend the lead" simply...KEEP the Ball for the last 15 minutes or whatever...then...
