I am not going to pick out a single man of the match , because just about every player shone ..
I am not impresses by the "Anfield UN faithful " apart from singing Y N W A i could hardly hear a song or a chant.,..
Mind you, the lads were defo UPFOR IT.//
Kostas, Tako & Bobby on fire in the first 29 mins.. and the partnership , for me. of Joe & "KonG" (Kounate) should start at
Norwich.. with Andy doubtful Kostas looked to be a hungry under-study... the opposnents got a biy "physical" and Curtis
got the worst of it.. precaution withdrawal gave BEN another chance and he looked sharp again. Woodburn was a ~wizz kid"
with the sort of praise currently (over) loaded on the Jordan lad now...
Nico and Ox (with a trademark long distance piledriver) both showed their energy , enthusiasm and ability...
Kells hardly had much to do in goal.. but is almost out-doing AB in the ! I am clam and in control" image..
Fab did his job , and more with some great through passes..but my vote still is for Milly. although Juergen will choose

Tako looks the player that attracted attention before being signed... plus Beck, Conor Bradley &....
Origi and of course Bobby showed they need the crowd to play their best, and Bobby's 2nd goal after good work by Kostas again..
was Firmino ay his best...
the changes late on allowed Oss to get a goal.. but this game give Jurgem plenty to think about..

mond you. I wouldnt have played these 2 "almost first selection" teams , I would have played my best 11 in one
and the "reserves" in another... I am caling Kounate "KonG" because he looks so strong and when player impresses
like he is doing.. its wrong to peg him back because we love VVD more...

the rousing Y N W A was the peak of the SUPPORT,, of course the hand-picked? politicall correct VAXed attendance
faded fast, they have no immunity nor strength ..the KOP is full of sheeple..
I felt although he had a decent run out starting VVD would not be my choice .

Would have preferred to see the current FIT pairing of Matip & KonG cement their understanding
with Trent & Robbo....and MILLY (my man of the match) in holding... at 35 Milly makes the decision
to offload 30 year old Gini & stall on Hendo's contact veen more riidiculous and penny pinching on the part of fenm ways sharks..
Bilbao were too often cutting through the back line..Matip & VVD caught our 2 or 3 times in the first half...this Bilbao side
could have a GO in la Liga this comong season.. sharp, high press & move the ball well..
DioGO took his goal well.. MANe VERY sharp im ;pre season and with Mo & DioGO also moving well mens that the defence may
need to trust that the "Fab 3/4" could get the TEAM out of difficulties until a settled CB/holding unit is decided..
Milly was everywhere and I cant recall him missing a pass , big energy and tackles that might cause FAB to be concerned
about his place as a "regular first TEamer" ...
Harve reacted to the crowd (when the crowd was awake!)/// question; does the VAX also neuter its victimes... I mean ..
will Gates wanted to "cull the global population" well he has killed quite a few, but does the VAX also sterlilize

the inside of the top corner of the gaolposts and rebounding out, a fractio away from being a spectacular goal..
Naby is still an enigma ... disappears for parts of the game, then looks like a player, then twice gets caught in possesiion too close to the edge of is
own pen area.. ..Trent looked sound...Robbo got injured just before half time, and its likely that Kostas may start the first league game..
Beck came on at half time, ...he did well, as did Tyler Morton, and @ex wizz-kid Ben Woodburn.. ..
for me loans are not a help to players who should develop in the LIVERPOOL WAY... Keep them, sell them ,
but very few players come back from loan to be regular first Teamers
Allison Becker was Ok, apart from a couple of dodgy clearances.. tomorrow Ossasuna , and we can expect a strong line up
with Kells? Nico, Joe , Kong, Kostas? Nath, Curtis, Hendo, Tako, Shaq, Bobby , Origi & young Jordon? getting more game time..
something seems off, probably because of the fecking "euros" for me these games should be played by our "starting first 11"
if next weekend the first game at Norwich is to be won..

First choice GK needs a start? ..CBs Joel & Kong are currently with the best match fitness (though it may be useful to test Nath alongside VVD for the last 30 mins?)
our wing halves (they are NOT "full backs" ) are of course Trent & Robbo (although would like to see Nico & Kostas ~push~ them)
Midfield ; I want to see more of OX & Naby ..and with Curtis & Harve getting a late entrance..
Tako and Bobby too ...and expect to see "the Firm" respond to having a full house.,
the current best front 3 in form ; with main MANe dropping deeper on the left , DioGO & MO playing on the shoulders
of the opposing defence .....

Nico & Kostas did ok without looking like they could replace :world class: wing halves Trent & Robbo (they are NOT "full backs" )...
young Jordan looks sharp at 16 ... raw but energetic Ben looked ok,
and won the pen which Divock took,, (Fab was pen taker at Monaco?) and hit the post.
the defence in both games held firm with Joe looking ok alongside Kon with Rhys & Nat coming on later... clean sheets in both games ,,is a solid basis to build on in the next few days of this pre season..
