Mourinho's two-and-a-half campaigns at Manchester United, two league games at Anfield finished 0-0, while there was a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. That spell also saw a 0-0 draw against Manchester City in 2017 and a narrow 1-0 defeat away at Chelsea a few months later.
Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Liverpool when they last faced each other in January, and even though this Reds side were virtually unstoppable during the 2019/20 campaign, Tottenham came close to shutting them out. Essentially, Mourinho's approach when playing the top teams has been to try and keep it low-scoring.
" )so many fans , some coaches & "pundits" seem to think that "ball possesion" is the key ..probably the same who think that "knowledge is power" however ..
APPLICATION is power, using it to the best means you dont have to be the most :educated: to be effective and in football, how you USE & APPLY possession makes the result (just look at the villa 7-2 defeat or watford 3-0 loss earlier this year)
we didnt propose Matip... JK played him ..although 3 points here COULD have been a boost to title retention...
of course VAR "referee" has to rear its ugly head ... took an age to see what any supporter or kid player knows that Fab tackled fairly this like the GOVT "BUG" rules , clokdown , masks
& curfews are a VARCE... but the sheeple just shrug & obey ...more RONS!
the London side with their partial crowd returned started fiercly ..
sharper & biting in the tackle..were the better TEAM. as Juergens selection attempted to keep the ball got hustled in a way that the REdS have done to so many others.. to play
away in London means they probably only had a day to "prep" (Thursday travel back, saturday travel away)
this doesnt fit the Klopp & co method...
We felt that Kells could have continued and bring Ali B back for the "6 pointer" v London's Spurs ..
(VAR ignored the foul on Mo before the fulham goal) ..
Ali B had saved 3 times before the home side opener on 25 mins...saves that Kells
might have also made, and neither would be expected to save the fiercely struck
shot that went just inside the post of our GK..
the REdS were not in it for the first 30 mins , the goal seemed to wake them up, and calm the home side, which also took the edge off their game.. sadly DioGO being added to the injury list meant there wasnt a "super sub" option..
although I cant see that its fair or effective to bring on Origi with barely minutes left to play... for me, JK , Ljinders & co got this one wrong...
The away Side did not make a move of note until the 38th Min... and a chance for MANe
...
(of course our " 12th man " away is often louder than the home fans .. is excluded..so
cannot influence and energise the REdS players...)
and a chance for Mo made by Trent before H-T could have given the REdS an undeserved levveller..
fulham defending well..
H-T (1-0) came as the REdS were starting to get into the game
Trent started to get into the game on the right...
Hendo had a BIG chance on 60 mins. Tako doing well to win the ball back (on for "spasmed" Matip)
...the REdS dominating the end half and playing mostly in the opponents half who have decided to defebnd
their lead, (an error by Parker?)
...the "FAB 3" making more of an impact.. fulham hoping for break aways..
I like Neco ..on for a tiring Trent? ..
fulhams Lookman ws lucky to stay on the field after an "OtT" on Neco..
75 mins is when I feel JK should bring on Origi (maybe for Bobby & "go route 1)
no pressure on home CBs...
we get , IMO| a lucky pen from a dubious handball decision from a Gini free kick.. MOs shot was also :lucky:
Hendo playing virtual CB..
Curtis had a great run just before Div came on at 84mins..
Jones could have been a hero but after running half the field shot at their GK...
1-1 ...Full time (94 m)

MO Salah became Liverpool’s top scorer in the Champions League as the Reds were held at Midtjylland in midweek. With top spot in the group already secured, Jurgen named the Merseysiders’ youngest Champions League starting XI and was rewarded with another decent display before attention turned towards Sunday afternoon’s showdown.
Liverpool have been blighted by injuries to key first-team players this season, but have made light of the situation, and the patched-up side from Wednesday extended a fine recent run across all competitions of just one defeat in 13. In Premier League duty alone, the Reds are off the top only on goal-difference having won seven of 11 matches. Crisis? What crisis?
Well, if we’re being critical, Klopp’s charges have failed to really fire on their domestic travels. The visitors have succeeded in a solitary Premier League game as guests (W1-D3-L1), compared to their perfect Anfield record, however they have a decent opportunity to enhance that return when travelling to Craven Cottage.
Since the beginning of 2018/19, Liverpool have posted wonderful W18-D2-L1 figures away at bottom-half Premier League teams – an 86% win ratio that is reflected in their skinny 1/3 odds to triumph in the capital. But what’s most noticeable out of those 21 tussles is the sheer lack of high-scoring contests that have played out.
Only six of those fixtures featured over 3.5 goals and just one match ended with five or more, with the Liverpool victory alongside under 4.5 goals paying out on 17 (81%) occasions. While the pre-match quotes give Liverpool a 75% chance of victory, adding under 4.5 goals at 7/8 with Betway is rated at just a 53% chance.
There’s a fair degree of discrepancy between the two and I’m happy to take the plunge and punt the Reds to succeed in a relatively low-scoring clash. We have the 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, plus the 2-1 and 3-1 correct scores onside, an outcome that’s landed in six of Fulham’s eight defeats since the Cottagers returned to the top flight.
parker’s team have displayed small signs of progress since they began to bed in a system to suit their summer signings. Nevertheless, there’s an obvious gulf in quality between the two sides and I suspect the visitors will be happy to close out the contest once ahead, knowing that Tottenham lie in wait at Anfield only three days later. fulham have fallen short in four of their five opening e.p.hell home games, shipping two goals or more on each occasion - a repeat is likely to prove unsurmountable here.

Mid week outing with the Kids ,,,
OUR MEd1ATEAM proposal....
JK selected;
Mid / VAR won LIVERPOOL 1 (Mo 1 min)
Capt Trent*
Unfortunate for Kostas going off at 54 mins
as I felt he showed some good quality in defence and attack..
MO got the very early goal, and showed class,
Clarkson did well , especially early on, Fab cleared off the line..
Rhys had a battle with big Caba
.. very physical home side tried to rough up the lads, Onjenko lucky to stay on the field after 2 bookable fouls
... Billy on 2nd half, Div made himself a couple of half chances, Origi & Tako worked hard, IMO and Naby, too, although never quite in command..
Kells almost stopped the dubious pen (flagged offside before he took out their forward)
DioGO got 2 shots on target, left & right foot, got "taken out" 3 times...
Mo was constantly handled which IMO the ref allowed too much.. oldies..Robbo, Hendo & Bobby on late to "settle" the game..
towards the end looked like an end-to-end cup tie.. bit scrappy and a lot of action..
do NOT know if JK should risk MANe for the last few minutes,,,
IMO Tako scored a good goal.. I dont see that Sadios hand rather than the defenderassisted the goal.. another weird VAR decision IMO!
1-1 probably a fair result,

todays Poem...
just before I go to sleep.
its difficult not to weep
of the good people that have gone
left behind those who seem like moron (s)
there s donald , (the duck sounds more intelligent)
trying to be next president
but when u look at their population
its clear hes not the only (trump-chump)
europa is not much better
they bomb more kids in Syria
in revenge ...
when its all over the world will look like "stonehenge"
sometimes the scientists warn about this or that
some virus, some risk or look for life on another planet
seems when I look at the 7 billion
on this planet , I havent found that!
but keep your humour , if there is anyone there?
my ideas I would like to share
but considering the C 1 a will track you or spread more scare
I wonder if you really dare?
