Shanks ; a TRUE Legend then, now & forever = the RED SOUL of LIVERPOOL!

ChriS > ‎"Legend" is a word too often used, Shanks was and IS the one that made us claim "we are LIVERPOOL" ...no one compares!

'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'

*****

'If you are first you are first. If you are second you are nothing.'

*****

'Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool.'

*****

'The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game.'

 *****

'Son, you'll do well here as long as you remember two things. Don't over-eat and don't lose your accent.' - to Ian St John when he signed for Liverpool.

*****

To a journalist who suggested Liverpool were struggling - 'Ay, here we are with problems at the top of the league.'

*****

Talking to a reporter about Roger Hunt - 'Yes Roger Hunt misses a few, but he gets in the right place to miss them.'

*****

Explaining to Kevin Keegan what's expected of him at Anfield - 'Just go out and drop a few hand grenades all over the place son!'

*****

'I know this is a sad occasion, but I think that Dixie would be amazed to know that even in death he could draw a bigger crowd to Goodison than Everton on a Saturday afternoon.' - speaking at the funeral of Everton legend Dixie Dean.

*****

'If Everton were playing at the bottom of the garden, I'd pull the curtains.'

*****

'Sickness would not have kept me away from this one. If I'd been dead, I would have had them bring the casket to the ground, prop it up in the stands, and cut a hole in the lid.' - after beating Everton in the 1971 FA Cup semi-final.

*****

Addressing the Liverpool fans who turned up in their thousands to welcome the team home despite losing to Arsenal in the 1971 FA Cup final - 'Chairman Mao has never seen a greater show of red strength.'

*****

After signing Ron Yeats - 'With him in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal.'

*****

To Alan Ball after he'd signed for Everton - 'Never mind Alan, at least you'll be able to play next to a great team.'

*****

To Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee - 'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee!'

*****

To the players after failing to sign Lou Macari - 'I only wanted him for the reserves anyway.'

*****

To Ian St John - 'If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just pop it in the net and we'll discuss your options afterwards.'

*****

'In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside - Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves.'

*****

About the 'This is Anfield' plaque - 'This is to remind our lads who they're playing for, and to remind the opposition who they're playing against.'

*****

'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present. It was her birthday and would I have got married during the football season? Anyway, it was Rochdale Reserves.'

*****

Shankly to the Brussels hotel clerk who queried his signing 'Anfield' as his address on the hotel register - 'But that's where I live.'

*****

Shankly explaining rotation to a reporter - 'Laddie, I never drop players, I only make changes.'

*****

Comparing the Anfield pitch to other grounds - 'It's great grass at Anfield, professional grass!'

*****

'The difference between Everton and the Queen Mary is that Everton carry more passengers!'

*****

To a local barber, who in 1968 had asked 'Anything off the top? Shanks retorted - 'Aye, Everton!'

*****

On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said - 'Give them these when they arrive - they'll need them!'

*****

'I always look in the Sunday paper to see where Everton are in the league - starting, of course, from the bottom up.'

*****

To Chris Lawler during a training session at Melwood - 'Was it a goal? Was I offside?' Lawler replied - 'You were boss.' Shanks then quipped - 'Christ, son, you've been here four years, hardly said a word and, when you do, it's a bloody lie!'

*****

To Tommy Smith during training - 'You son, could start a riot in a graveyard.'

*****

'There's Man Utd and Man City at the bottom of Division One, and by God they'll take some shifting.'

*****

'It's a 90 minute game for sure. In fact I used to train for a 190 minute game so that when the whistle blew at the end of the match I could have played another 90 minutes.'

*****

On a wartime Scotland v England match - 'We absolutely annihilated England. It was a massacre. We beat them 5-4.'

*****

After losing to Ajax in the 1967 European Cup - 'We cannae play these defensive continental sides!'
*****

Shanks and Tommy Docherty were at a game. There was a player every other club coveted on view. Docherty said to Shanks - '100,000 wouldn't buy him.' Shanks retorted - 'Yeah, and I'm one of the 100,000!'

*****

What Shanks disliked about football - 'The end of the season.'

*****

Radio Merseyside reporter to Shankly - 'Mr Shankly, why is it that your team's unbeaten run has suddenly ended?' Shanks replied: 'Why don't you go and jump in the lake?'

*****

On hearing a rival manager was unwell - 'I know what's wrong - he's got a bad side!'

*****

To reporters after a 3-0 defeat - 'They're nothing but rubbish. Three breakaways, that's all they got.'

*****

Talking about Tommy Smith - 'If he isn't named Footballer of the Year, football should be stopped and the men who picked any other player should be sent to the Kremlin.'

*****

To a translator, when being surrounded by gesticulating Italian journalists - 'Just tell them I completely disagree with everything they say!'

*****

After winning the FA Cup in 1974 Shankly goes into a fish and chip shop and orders a fish supper. The woman at the counter asks - 'Mr Shankly, shouldn't they be having steak suppers?' Shanks replied - 'No lass, they'll get steak suppers when they win the double!'

*****

To the Anfield PA during a match - 'Jesus Christ, son, can ye no' talk into that microphone when the players are in the penalty box. You're putting them off, you're doing more damage than the opposition.'

*****

Shankly on boardroom meetings - 'At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.'

*****

Talking about the Liverpool fans - 'I'm just one of the people who stands on the kop. They think the same as I do, and I think the same as they do. It's a kind of marriage of people who like each other.'

*****

Explaining on what the off-side rule should be - 'If a player is not interfering with play or seeking to gain an advantage, then he should be.'

*****

'I was only in the game for the love of football - and I wanted to bring back happiness to the people of Liverpool.'

*****

'"If you can't make decisions in life, you're a bloody menace. You'd be better becoming an MP!'

*****

When told he had never experienced playing in a derby - 'Nonsense! I've kicked every ball, headed out every cross. I once scored a hat-trick; one was lucky, but the others were great goals.'

*****

After a 0-0 draw at Anfield - 'What can you do playing against 11 goalposts!'
*****

Waxing lyrical about Ian Callaghan - 'He typifies everything that is good in football, and he has never changed. You could stake your life on Ian.'

*****

'Fire in your belly comes from pride and passion in wearing the red shirt. We don't need to motivate players because each of them is responsible for the performance of the team as a whole. The status of Liverpool's players keeps them motivated.'

*****

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'

*****

On the leaving of Liverpool - 'It was the most difficult thing in the world, when I went to tell the chairman. It was like walking to the electric chair. That's the way it felt.'
Chris> thanks Shanks, you are the Dad every lad wants to have..every True REd should read the above a hundred times, and BE...with courage the BEST you can be ..and more.. ;)

Pg->Beograd->Luton->LP->Luton-s(KOP)je ->Pg…  "not on the KOP but with "MacREDS 2" IN s-KOP-ye" !

this was NOT "cheeky" NK!(?)
Wednesday 29th Sept.

When talking to "all mouth & trousers" ("cheeky") ..our last contact was Sunday via sms  and it already seems an age , and it could have been an "eternity" as the (late & tired pilot?) of the wizzair jet almost crash-landed on Monday night!..

A week ago I was celebrating NK's birthday, having met at the previous CS meeting in Pg, Oliver and I made a "Pg bar tour - part 1" ...and although she "forget" me "bl**dy trousers" repaired the situation before she returned to her new fan club @ "Berlin"...will she be a my drinking/(or travel) partner and a true friend in "Monty" - we shall see.?

My net was not working so I had not seen our win @ Brighton..

good though that Dirk & Craig did their bit (with more than a little help from Luis) and there's the exciting thoughts of a returning Stevie linking up with our Suare7...to be men of the match again? ..but lets support the whole team..

Pert? cant see ! ;)
anyway...

A week ago I was celebrating NK's birthday, having met at the previous CS meeting in Pg, Oliver and I made a "Pg bar tour - part 1"
shhhhh, planning a "MONTY" REVOLUTION!
We met in "Berlin" (NK was "on time" even earlier than agreed, and that was "nice" as almost no-one here comes on time,..(if u opardon the expression)

..we then went to NH to have some shots and then jazz caffe..watching Sanja & the band, but NK went.."cheeky" and I told Oliver she woudl nt coma back, so I told her ..and she "repaired" the situation, with a swig of my wine and that "cheeky" (pert?) smile..a litt;e drunk but ..she reminded me of that saucy Kate...

Bili ; Bg "host-guide" ;)
I had gone back to support Sanja and the band..vocally and morally supporting them when the "fashos;-thought & song police" trying to quieten them down, they sing & play Jazz its hadly hurting anyone is it ????

So after NK went I stayed for a "while" getting to bed aroubd 3am , not ideal with a 07h start & bus to Bg, (Belgrade=Beograd) ...
  • "Cavern"friday night ; nostalgia, bevvies an d dancing!

long journey from Pg to Beograd (Bg) thursday through scenic route (often no protection from bus and a 1000 metre drop ...;) ...missed Vlad, and found Bili , who gave me a complete "orientation of Bg" ..and a really tasty meal at a quiet but excellent restaurant off the "scal" ..then the "open wine bar" and.. and ...the party/jam , bit confused with Bo & others who were not there, but enjoyed my host's  company

..then to Bg airport and Luton had an hour delay in the queue before immigration (and i have an EU passport) ,,then to Lp (met alex a SWISS Lfc fan) on the bus who was "made up" to join our party at the "cavern" last night,,a bit of welcome sleep and off to meet "FC" at the radio..then the match, ......hoping...for Stevie and the lads t win 3 points and get back into top form,, come on our REdS!

  • ChriS SmiTH stars..."You’ve got big ideas — bigger than most, anyway — and you need to tell the world. At least one of your hottest notions is sure to be a winner, though you may need assistance to bring it to life. " ;)

Saturday morn, I met Frank C at the BBC merseyside studio and we went offf to have a "pot of tea" at "maggie mays" in Bold street with George ..who quipped "Smith & Jones".. ; ) (see "www.doodlenaut.co.uk")... FC also had been having "comms trouble" I accepted the blame, now the "C 1/A" know we are in contact... ;) ..and went off to meet "Aussie REd Dean" outside the Albert, great eh, he gets his tickets ; no problem, my new card dont work, but the old member card that Lfc TO told me was cancelled worked in the Lfc store!! ..i HATE "the office! ;)

The Team showed well against Wolves in the first half, thei johnson moaned that Andy had shoved him before Adams shot was deflect for our 1-0 , but WE had a goal like that disallowed when the other ferdinanld dived because Andy breathed on him, bit of luck going OUR way for the first time this season and ANOTHER brilliant goal put us 2-0 up at half time, Macarthy sent his team out to "get at us" (a la spurs last sunday) and got a weird rebound between Enrique & Kelly, that let them into the game for a while, but we might have scored 4 or 5 through Luis and hard-working Andy, unluckily, again hit the post

I had been around the Sandon & Arkles but couldnt see anyone I knew with a KOP ticket, anyway had good conversation whilst cheering the team at half time with season-ticket holder Bob, whose son was also at the game, Bob's also a regular at the Arkles.. after thye game I met up with dean and saw (swiss) Alex at the Albert, a swift pint and off to Lime street where dean had to train back to his connections from London..a bevvy in Matthew street

Stevie came on for a cameo, hoping to see him contribute at goodison next weekend and be "ready" for the mancs at Anfield on the 15th Oct, I should be in Anfield again..hoping to give them ANOTHER "battering" ..but 3 points each game are the main target - a win by one goal in both games for OUR Kenny's REds will do!..

we need to get the previous sundays' game at spurs, when NOTHING went right out of the system - and shut up the doubters..

SUnday 25th Sept..

after  having a run down to the docks to pump out some "poisons" I had a quiet sunday at the inn, Frank was judging a pavement artist competition, (the Bold street festival) and there was also street dancing (www.movemaco.uk) and music from various muscians and bands, including a solo girl singer with a great "sinead" voice.. so i went to take a look, & make a "informal presentation" of (the last) Balkan Reds t-shirt , which Frank promises to wear on Lfc Tv...
i just had a quite time in the lounge and watched some films downstairs at the Inn , after a tasty curry dinner, as I had to leave Lp early monday morning,,
I  had a mild panic to check in on line, luckily the net cafe was open next to the Inn, as wizz had told me that i had to check in THREE hours before the flight "due to congestion" ..I had INDIGESTION just thinking about the queues of almost an hour before getting TO the immigration officers on friday ..I told the "passenger services" guys to take of their jackets, "its a trades description violation, isnt it?" I said , smiled and commented "welcome to england" to the sheep who just joined the line... without protest.!

A sunny north west countryside and the picturesque Chester town made the journey south acceptable.. but, the bus was about 10 mins late,..& there was no delay in getting through security (going out) However wizzair were 2 hrs late, and i was happy for friendly Albanian Benny to get his brother to agree to carry me to the centar from the airport, where taxis were too expensive..

well, I had indicated to "Mac REdS" in skopje (s-KOP-ye!) that i may have time to visit them, however I nearly didnt make it as the huge boeing almost crash-landed (as te guys been delayed all day, he maye have been tired??)

Anyway I was happy to meet Fikls, Filip, Orce, Jovan & several others, after "Fikla" picked me up from the irish pub.. befotre moving to the RedS bar where they watch the games ("Ager & Sager bar")

a bevvy then they found me a "B & B".. Filip  & Fikla picking me up outside the caffe and we couldnt find John Toskack,ex Lfc player who is now managing the Macadonian team,  (but thats for "future" references, the 2 lads tooke me to get my ticket back to Pg, then we toured the old bazaar, having tea & burek, sat in a nice old-fashioned place called "scales"..saw the city museum & also mother Teresa' s museum,

I also may have got close to "my maker" on monday as the pilot was surely tired , as he almost crash - landed!  BTW , Teresa was born in SKOPje , which they claim to be the birthplace of civilization (nie of them to accept the blame?) ;) the 2 "Mac REDS" gave the WHOLE day up to make sure i got their best guided tour of "S-KOP-je"...thanks to my new REdS family (Macedonian REdS are on facebook) and they meet to watch every game at the above-mentioned bar.really looked after me and were good compliments to our big Global REd family..it give some comfort when I have lost my family and this close to me over the years.. that I have some more "adopted" family in the Balkans, I will do what I can to support them and return there soon, its also great beign shown the "insider tours".. ;)

I was touched by the a"MacREdS" LADS giving me a Lfc shirt (SG8) from their young club, and I donated an authentic Lfc scarf and a banner for the wall of their bar, that i had recovered from the irish pub from the previous season when we played in thsi city's now renovated stadium, I wish the "Mac REDs" all the best, and will do whatever i can to support & promote the initiative of this group..

just to round off another "funny, enjoyable, weird 6 day "round trip" ..I woke up from a half-doze / dream on the inclined seat of the overnight bus back to Pg, (via Kosovo) and stared straight at a 2 metres tall Neon Sign ..with her name on it,,, ;) think we must try to be at least friends, the stars were strong, and the constellation..true?

Global REDS: Mentality ; are U a True REd member of our big global family?

 Mentality

Who is a True member of the Big Global REdS family..?

He or she feels the tragedy of Hillsborough & campaigns for justice, wont buy the s*n newspaper, ( and can tell you why) ..respects the victims of heysell, can sing and recite the exact lyrics of Y.N.W.A "Scouser Tommy" and "Fields of Anfield road" etc. goes to away games too..will sing and cheer on our players (especially if we are losing!) ....Knows the sayings & stories of "Shanks" and the names of our managers since (even "woy") ..

a TRUE REd does NOT publicly insult our Players or KIng Kenny ..!! (nor should they publicy vilify past players or managers , exception may be that fool hodgson who was employed by FRAUDS and insulted OUR CLUB, players, manager and supporters!)

Wears the Red when we play, will not miss a game, if not at the game will find a way to watch on the net or a pub with the game live on TV… you help other RedS if they have problems, once a group of belgian RedS I was in all put cash in "the pot" when a lad lost his wallet in Barcelona.. I have slept on Reds couches, and hotel room floors (and I have slept in stations and airport floors too, on the way to or from games) when we were kids, lads with no money would hitch hike to games in London, and for the final in Rome 77 a lot of the many thousands spent a week on a train to get there & back! We make witty banners and sing our songs before and after the game like a big FRIENDLY invading Red army wherever we go in GB or the rest of Europe..

But, I have been threatened because I campaign for "Global REdS & Shanks Liverpool way" socialism in a non-political way, a way of life as good as the ideal football team, where every "player" plays their part for the collective, wherever everyone is a "captain" when needed, and when anyone can accept and take the initiative, instead of pass responsibility, something a good team player understand also as an individual instinctively

Just like some of our newer fans, who don’t yet know how to be "global REdS" Our current team has several new players, who are getting "bonded " into the Liverpool way, and after having played away for their national side came back to go to a difficult away fixture @ Stoke, and despite domination..we often looked like 11 players just thrown togther, we missed chances, another blind ref and a dubious penalty against us  we were out of luck, but had we been at our best???

We didn’t get the "luck" and nor did I, ..its been one of those "times" ...confirmed as I drove the last part of the 900kms round trip, some c*nt came over the white line , driving in the opposite direction , wiped out my left wing mirror, if hed been a bit "wider" he might have wiped me out too..  That is the 2nd of 3 "life threat" this week (the fire within a few metres of the house Tuesday) .. Maybe I am "lucky" after all… ;) the latest when a "fan" said he would stab me, because of my opinions…

Match report ; more or less, despite the writer including 2 refs)

Kenny

http://tomkinstimes.com/2011/09/kenny-dalglish-is-ruining-liverpool/ ..this dedicated the scum media (who are gettign worse and worse, I wouldnt waste 2p on a current newspaper) and the sky-washed lfc "fast food fans" who i wish would F**k off and support chelski , the mancs or the blue sh*te!
And They have a go at Carra

(yre source "soccer lens" ????)  ....................and this seasons new (old) scape goat is...Carra ?? same old Herd mental-lottery baying for Carras removal, well Kenny will decide thankfully and not the "fast food fans" or the fool who wrote that "the refs dead right" ..we missed chances and the ref disallowed 2 or 3 penalties whilst giving stoke the only chance they had of scoring..Carra didnt play particularly well, but i have more respect for him than you to clamour for his removal so early in the season!!  goalkeeper and centre back are positions that are hard omn mistakes , but not just anyone can play there because it also requires organisational skills...

and this..

i dont like losing any game, but although there were things we didnt do, and often too deep against a team that defends on its own pitch and didnt have a shot apart from their penalty, some "fans" already give up on the league, we dominated and even though we werent taking chances we are so much better than a year ago, impossible to compare..idiots even phone in to Lfctv to moan and havent even SEEN the game! ..the world seems to be FULL of fools! (or spoilt brats!) ..FFS grow up!

http://www.empireofthekop.com/anfield/?p=35994&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Is there a police state in Liverpool our once socialist principle drowned by the yankers propa ganda?? IF the club do anything againgst Nathan I will personally take action up at the International court, its nothing to do with football and he has the right of freedom of speech... whether u agree with him or not..

whatever your opinion of "9/11" what is SURE, people lie every day and when the "prize" is billions if not trillions of dollars of military weapon & army contracts, then some people will do ANYthing to justify spending that money on protection from an "enemy" dont forget it is the c 1/A that invented the name "Al quiada" ..
(anyoen see the film "wag the dog"?)
Thoughts of that day ; There were no "Rwanda memorials for a million + africans killed by genocide whilst the world watched, or FB "events" for all the natives wiped out so the uSA could build the "land of the Free"
or for those innocent victims since the "allied invasion" of Baghdad or the urban genocide in the Balkans not so long ago, and whilst 25,000 kids die daily because their "new world order" spends more on weapons in one year than it would to stop all people dying of starvation or disease for all time.

.when these issues are deal with in a positive way for the benefit of humanity, then I will sympathise with the true victims of "9/11"

yes good business we had the best of him, and I dont blame anyone for leaving us during the Hicks-purslow-(Titanic") era (purslow left AFTER Torres) and compared with Owen (who wenbt to the mancs) the vilification of Torres is downright nasty, move on..

p.s. and thanks for all those wonderful moments you gave me ..Milan, Marseille, Old toilet etc etc,  fast 50 goals for our Club..thats the memory I will keep..

"Saving Monty" ;The Future of the Balkans part 1 (Montenegro)

Staying in the Balkans has been a unique experience. I had previously been, living, visiting or working in every other part of Europe. Sometimes this region can seem surreal and this independent state can feel, indeed, like a "pythonesque" sketch!

Once upon a time, prior to a meningitis-induced coma, I was an entrepreneurial Strategic manager, networking confidential enterprise. Since I "dropped out" I have been promoting alternatives ; eco-logistics ; self sustainability and campaigning for individual freedoms as the "system" attempts to place everyone in "little boxes" to make you all more "managable" (never mind the destruction of creativity or the damage to nature!)

This morning I decided to tell you what you should do,…..

don’t go into the EU!  …keep the Euro, make an association (as with the council of europe) because having lived in those states; I cant see any benefits realised (much was promised about free movement etc, but the global security panic killed that idea, we get controlled more than ever...) Every state that joined the EU, has suffered from over-bureaucracy, less freedom and inflation, almost removing the grass roots necessary for creativity.
("Monty" is only 5 years old, would be swallowed whole by the EU)

Be more social - in attitude, generally you are mis-trusting of strangers, and this region can profit if you develop good relations, amongst ALL your neighbours and visitors, I don’t mean encourage groups of economy tourists, but do learn the difference between day-trippers and those who bring positivity to your lives. You are all brothers & sisters of the former Yugo, act like it and stop looking for reasons to hate! By all means retain your regional culture, but you wont survive without "team" co-operation. Have tolerance and friendship for the mysterious strangers, teach your kids the articles of the UDHR (1948) and actively apply them, with a smile!

Develop your own initiatives, by co-operating & networking , the technology is in your hands; not just facebook, use the communications systems, car-sharing, networking of SME ; purchase clubs ; chain the small independent farmers, grocers & stores. Stop buying into the media's american dream, and focus on a better life (not a glamourous fashion - wife) fashion is fine, but don’t make image your aim, make your life a beautiful game, and support each other, for individual AND collective benefit. DON’T expect government ; local or global to pay for your way, don’t sell yourself to corporates or political ambitions; make your own way..BE someone!

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/video/Features/Its-Liverpool-28155.php3   and the european strategy behind "Lets B Fair" NetwErk" occupy thoughts and connections at the moment ;)

ChriS
Global REdS Cultural missionary <smile>

EuRED 6-a-side (its also about being a "Red cultural missionary" ) ;)

It was difficult to watch our 6-a-side team Sunday night, I wanted to play, (but I probably would have made my tendon worse), should be ok next Sunday, we don’t have time for "team chat" but we should , even for ONE minute before starting.. When we played "pass & move" we scored easily. And we looked very good at times, Its not big problems ..just simple, when we have the ball each player should find space and make it easy for the one on the ball to pass it. When we lose it, we should pick up the opposing players GIVING HIGH priority to the opposing players near to OUR goal, that’s obvious isnt it, but EVERY goal scored against us was because someone didn’t mark the others players, the new guy in black is a good player on the ball but "lazy" when losing it, he cost about 4 goals because he didn’t cover their players when he lost it..solve this and we win every time! ;)

Ugo, my "adopted" monty-Son, shouldn’t  ask my opinion ihe  don’t want to know it… its simple in our culture only little girls say "I don’t want to play if that one plays" ..you have to be a man as the organiser and the one who asked me to join but YOU have to be a man & stand for a principle , not choose "favourites" ..so what if Anton & Fab are foreigners and he only sees them on Sunday, you have to treat people equally..fairly and do what is RIGHT..i don’t care (more) about anton or Fab, they are only "acquaintances" ..i talk to them more only because the others don’t speak to me (as much)..i said that anton can be sub because he didn’t play last week, that’s fair…so, what I am saying as soon as you let your friends "blackmail" you about other players, then you have LOST control of the team, and I would not want to be part of that.. So .i think Ugo needs to slow down and take time (to think)and not be influenced by anyone, a young man must decide how he will live his life …be strong or be wrong..

There are no good examples for kids now, everyone needs to care, share and be positive and not buy in to the media & the money obsessed capitalist system..whilst an estimated 25,000 kids die daily …whatever you are, be a GOOD one…

Better Red than dead!

Having lived abroad instigating numerous international networking projects since leaving GB more than 25 years ago I have always promoted Liverpool; the people, the culture, the music ; the city and Lfc.. I have volunteered in many charities, coached kids "the Liverpool way" had my own  version of a show similar to John Peel on a german free radio station, constantly promoting all things LIverpool, I tell everyone I meet that this is the place to be, because of the freindly people, culture , its music and football.(being a supporter of Lfc since the 60's) .
I am currently experimenting with youth and local SME/entrepreneurs in a creative enterprise (see http://www.ursun.net/LetS-BFAIR_LAUNCH.htm "under construction") .. and  ask you to inform me how you think "Its Liverpool" could co-operate with this concept and myself, as Montenegro ("Wild Beauty" and the Balkans is becoming increasingly important as a Strategic location for eastern europe and mediteranean regions and certain other areas of the World
